Chalk Board Sign

Loving my new sign!
I found my inspiration for this sign at Red Letter Words- Faith Inspired Art. I made this sign but I still would love to own one like the Fruit of the Spirit sign. It is on my Christmas wish list:)

Supplies:
1. Chalk Board paint spray
2. Scrap wood- This piece was 51 cents....yes CENTS at Lowes
3. White paint
4. Paint Brush
Scrap wood at Lowe's

This stuff works great!
Step 1: Spray the wood piece
Step 2: Cover your painted wood with real chalk. Then erase off the chalk and you will have a chalk board look
Step 3: Cut out your saying from a word document and then trace the letters on the board
Letter's cut out form a word document
Step 4: Paint letters on board with white paint. This was the first time I really painted so I think with practice and maybe with better brushes I can have cleaner lines. I just had cheap 99 cent brushes.
Step 5: Sand down all the letters to give a vintage look
All done and in my laundry room!

Step: Put up you sign. I placed mine in our laundry room:)
