Mod Podge Bible Pumpkin

Sitting on our family room mantel

Last week my Mops group (mother's of preschooler's) went to a local pumpkin patch where the kids picked their own pumpkins, rode a hay ride and took an adventure in the corn maze. Yes, there were only two moms and seven kids in this corn maze. I carried Landon almost the whole time and it didn't help it was 8o degrees outside. But the kids had a blast and us mom's survived:) As I came home I wanted to display the little pumpkins the kids picked but needed to add something bigger to put on the mantel.

I decieded to Modge Podge a plastic pumpkin that we had laying around the house. I took an old bible verse scripture book, Mod Podge, a paint brush, and a plastic pumpkin then Mod Podged away!

Not only did it turn out so cute but I love the daily reminder about what is important in life which is our relationship with Jesus Christ!
